Senoia is a small city in eastern Coweta County, Georgia, set in the gently rolling Piedmont about 35 to 40 miles south of downtown Atlanta. That legacy made Senoia a destination for film fans while keeping its historic core intact. Today Senoia functions as both a close-knit small town and a practical bedroom community for people who work toward Atlanta, Peachtree City, or Newnan. Residents are served by the Coweta County School System, with several campuses located in or immediately around the city.
